Being called “Lady Fur” having a blog like mine called welovefur is absolutely not easy. Actually, it’s really difficult. Gaining followers is difficult for two main reasons.
- The first is that the theme of “fur” is not popular with the mass. Some people actually hate me. Many brands don’t want to work with me because I am known online as “Lady Fur” I receive emails of this type: Samantha we love you, you are unique, your photos are beautiful, we like your unique style, but you and your blog promote furs and even if we produce them we prefer not to say it or promote it. (WHAT HYPOCRITES I AM ASHAMED FOR THEM) I will never NEVER collaborate with this type of brand, not because they don’t want to work with me but because I don’t want to work with them. More people love me than hate me. For me collaborating means hitting a target of people who love luxury (because fur is considered a luxury good). You don’t know how much I have cried, how many times I have thought of giving up, my friends know. In the first two years, there were more nights when I cried than when I went to bed happy. Thanks to you who follow me and support me, I have never given up. The companies that support me, today after three intense years of work, are very many. Things are getting better and better. My blog has had a very different path to that of other fashion bloggers and I am happy about that. I prefer to be different and have a unique dream than follow the dreams and models of others.=)
- Second theme: age. My profile and blog are popular mainly with adults doing different actions on social networks and on the web. 15 to 25-year-old girls live on social networks, put likes and comment on any photo (followers of fashion bloggers). My followers are adults: 35 years and over, they go on Instagram two or three times a day, put likes but don’t particularly interact, they act differently (different age = different action). But my followers have purchasing power. My followers travel, spend, love luxury…
Positioning a blog like welovefur, the only independent professional blog in the world that also deals with the theme of fur is a real challenge. For many an impossible challenge for me, it is instead more and more. I have transformed the weaknesses into strengths. The blog is dedicated not only to fur but also to my life in general. I love fur, so I photograph my outfits to share my passion with you. I am the only one in the world that does it. But I also share my passion for jewels, travel, precious stones, lingerie and much more.
In August I will make a video with all the projects I have done in the last year, with all the successes, the names of the companies that have supported me with the names of my fondest followers. =)

I am in love
I am crazy in love with my fur soft toy. The bunny you see in the photo. I have always loved soft toys, above all those in real fur. I have been courting the Saga Furs rabbit for three years click here and look at this post where you can see it well. May 24 will be my birthday, who knows if I will get it as a gift. I really want it =) (It could seem like an explicit request but it’s not)
This soft toy was given to me by my sweet follower Francesca during the Mifur fair (I made a video at Mifur it got more than 25k views click here). I take it with me everywhere. I took it to Shanghai, Peking, Paris and Chicago. I will also take it to Kastoria next week. I love sleeping with it.
(I think that all fur feticists like me should have a fur soft toy.)
I would really love to make a small collection of soft toys and promote them on my blog. I can’t find the right supplier. I don’t want to make old-style fur soft toys, I would like to make super soft toys, to hug and caress with long ears.
Real fur soft toys like this are also beautiful for decorating the house. They are luxury finishings. What do you think?

In fact, right now I am writing this post sitting on my bed with the soft toy in my arms. I even photographed it and uploaded it on Snapchat you can find me as lady fur.

Congrats! I think the sad part about this is that there are many who hate fur, eat meat, wear leather and do things that actually destroy the ecosystem, yet are unaware that there have been affiliations formed to ethically obtain new fur without hurting animals, so it isn’t all bad and not all good designers just hurt animals for fur. Also, buying vintage is a way to obtain fur without having to kill more animals. Just because someone doesn’t buy fur, doesn’t mean they’re actually a good person, either. There are tons of people who buy fur and are inherently better people than those who don’t.
