ULYANA SERGEENKO

Ulyana Sergeenko, Russian fashion designer and photographer, blogger  and occasional fashion model. Unlike many fashion designers, Ulyana did not study fashion design academically (she achieved a degree in Philology) but with passion for clothes, she was a model in St. Petersburg long time ago. Later the Russian couture collector and style queen turned designer. Her debut was during the Fall 2011 Fashion Week Haute Couture in Paris. Since that time we noticed she also appeared on many blogs, including her own blog. Ulyana is a storyteller of a fairy tale. She is an absolute genius. Influenced strongly by her native Russian roots and beloved grandmother, she is a talented designer,  retro-glam and a little bit bohemien. Her style.is inspired by vintage and antique fashion, especially in their quality, craftsmanship and artistic value. She loves midi skirts and the maxi ones floor sweeping. But there is even more to discover inside her Haute Couture 2012/13 collection: military great coats lined in fur, mink skirt down to the feet, shawl with white fur hood, capes lined in sable,and gloves to celebrate the Russian heritage.
